PREPARE THE POOL

AND FILTRATION SYSTEM

Step 1:

The pool’s bottom should not have a deep hopper or slope.

Step 2:

Manually vacuum your pool.

Step 3:

Backwash or clean the filter according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Step 4:

Clean the skimmer basket and the pump strainer basket.

Step 5:

Visually inspect the return side plumbing from the filter to the pool wall for leaks.

Repair any leaks in your plumbing system prior to installing the ZIPPY

®

WALL ADAPTER INSTALLATION

ZIPPY is designed to work with the return flow from your pool’s filtration system. Aboveground pools
may utilize different types of return inlet fittings. To accommodate this, your ZIPPY comes with an
adapter assembly which connects to a variety of different pool return inlet fittings.

Step 1: 

Turn the pump off.

Step 2:

Remove the return inlet fitting from the wall
fitting located on the wall of your pool. Do not
loosen or remove the wall fitting.

Step 3:

Determine which wall fitting you have from the illustrations shown below.

, thread the Wall Adapter into the wall fitting as shown in

Figure 1.

, remove the male to male adapter from the Wall Adapter as

shown in Figure 2A and thread the remainder of the Wall Adapter onto the wall fitting
as shown in Figure 2B.
