5.
Disassemble the cutting unit or boom (exten-
sion)
•
Loosen the rotary knob (4) and pull out the
locking pin (1) and subsequently the boom (ex-
tension) (2) or cutting unit (2).
6.
Assemble the guidebar and saw chain
•
Loosen the nut using the spanner.
•
Remove the sprocket cover.
•
Turn the tensioning screw (1) anticlockwise un-
til the tensioning pin (2) rests against the left
side.
•
Place the saw chain (6) starting at the tip of the
guidebar (7).
•
Now insert the guidebar (7) with the saw chain
(6).
•
Place the guidebar over the stud (3) and insert
the chain tensioning pin (4) into the guidebar
hole. At the same time, place the saw chain
over the sprocket (5).
•
Now tension the saw chain (see chapter
"Check and tensioning of the saw chain").
•
Reinstall the sprocket cover and slightly
tighten the nut.
CAU TION
Wear protective gloves! Risk of injury
from the sharp cutting teeth!
N OTE
Observe the running direction of the
saw chain on the guidebar and on the
base plate (pole pruner).
Disassemble saw chain
Die Sägekette muss gegebenenfalls vorher ent-
spannt werden, um das Schwert
und die Säge-
kette
abzunehmen (siehe Kapitel „Sägekette
spannen und prüfen“). Folgen Sie diesen An-
weisungen in umgekehrter Reihenfolge.
The saw chain may have to be untensioned be-
forehand in order to disassemble the guidebar
and the saw chain (see chapter "Check and ten-
sioning of the saw chain"). Then follow these in-
structions in reverse order.
7.
Assemble the 3-section cutting blade:
•
Assemble/replace the 3-section cutting blade as illustrated in figures 1a - 1f.
•
Find the hole in the drive plate, align it with the opposite hole and block it with the supplied
Allen key.
•
Place the 3-section cutting blade on the drive plate (see Fig. 1b). The label must be visible in
working position from above
