PROBLEMS, CAUSES AND REMEDIES

Should any of the anomalies described below occur try setting the situation

It is difficult to

create a

vacuum in the

containers.

1.

  The  gaskets  between  the

various components are dirty,

damaged or positioned

incorrectly.

2.

 Faulty pump.

3.

 Intake filter clogged.

1.

Examine  the  gaskets,  clean  if

necessary  and  lubricate  them  with

Vaseline.  Clean  mixing  unit  components

thoroughly (see paragraph 8.1.1).

2.

 Contact an Authorised Service Centre.

3.

Change the filter (see section 8.1.2).

After turning the

main  switch  to

ON the machine

does  not  work.

1.

 Plug is not connected to

the mains socket.

Power lead is damaged.

2.

 Fuse blown.

1.

Connect the plug to the mains socket

properly.

2.

Change the fuse, using one of identical

characteristics. Contact an Authorised

Servicing Centre only.

The pump does

not start.

1.

 Sensor on board and/or

magnet on cup lid faulty.

1.

 Contact an Authorised Service Centre.

Error n°1:

if, 2 minutes after positioning the cup, the pressure still hasn’t dropped below the

threshold (= 50) a warning appears and the pump is switched off. In this case it is necessary to

carry out an inspection and trace the problem (e.g. the cup may be positioned incorrectly, the

vacuum sensor tube disconnected, the pump disconnected…) before restarting the cycle.

Error n°2:

if,  during  the  cycle,  the  cup  is  no  longer  detected,  a  warning  appears  and  the

outputs are deactivated. In this case it is necessary to carry out an inspection and trace the

problem and then restart the cycle. This error may occur if the vacuum sensor is faulty:

measured pressure may be below the threshold (otherwise error 3 would be shown) but the cup

detaches. In this case the motor is stopped to prevent injury to the operator.

Error n°3:

if, during the cycle, the vacuum is insufficient (i.e. pressure rises above the

threshold = 50) a warning appears and the motor is switched off. this case it is necessary to

carry out an inspection and trace the problem (e.g. cup detached, vacuum sensor tube

disconnected, pump disconnected…) before restarting the cycle.

Error n°4:

 when the

elite mix

control unit is switched on the pump is activated for 5 seconds to

check whether the filter is dirty (i.e. without the cup): if the pressure drops below a certain level this

means  that  the  filter  is  clogged  and  an  error  warning  appears.  In  this  case  the  filter  must  be

replaced.
