Trouble shooting
Problem:
Possible cause:
The oil level is to low.
Electrical fault
Motor overheated
Faulty solenoid or cable
between solenoid and
motor.
Bad connections.
Battery capacity insuf-
ficient.

Correction:
Lifting
Doesn’t lift, motor starts.
Doesn’t lift, motor will not start
Solenoid is not activated
Doesn’t lift, solenoid activated
but motor does not start.
The lift does not lift the max.
load. Motor stops.
The lift does not lift the max.
load. Motor keeps going.
Platform is lifting and tilting at
the same time
Lower the platform to the ground, fill up
oil to max level.
Check fuses in truck cabin, taillift and
mainfuse between lift and battery.
Check wiring / connections.
Wait for motor to cool and try again
(can take upto 30mins depending on
outer conditions).
Check wiring / connections.
Check battery cables all connections
( + ), ( - ).
Check the battery charge (does the
truck’s motor start?).
Check oil level. Fill up oil if needed.
Bleed the system.
Check wiring / connections.
Lowering
Platform cannot be lowered,
nothing happens. No ”click”
from valves in hydraulic unit.
Platform cannot be lowered,
valves in hydraulic unit is
activated
