CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Note:
Wear safety gloves when cleaning
and carrying out maintenance
to avoid injury.

If the gas cooker will
not be used for some
time, keep the burner
clean and cover the
gas inlet to prevent
build-up of dust or
spider webs etc.. This
may lead to ignition
problems when you
try to use at a later
time.

place metal sheets, wire gause
or aluminium plates on top of the burner
for cooking purposes as this will cause
irremovable stains on the top plate.
- Use a soft cloth or soft sponge with
mild or neutral detergents to wipe the
top plate.

use a PVC or metal brush to
clean it.

use alkaline detergent,
petrol, corrosive or bleaching material.
These cleaning materials may
permanently damage the surface
finishing (non-stick coating and
stainless steel material).
Use a soft brush to remove
any
dirt or food residue
covering the tip of the
sensor.

Auxiliary Trivet
(Usage & Caution)
USAGE:
The auxiliary trivet is used when the base of the pan
or wok size utilised during cooking is too small to be
supported by the main trivet. Hence, this optional
part is used to provide extra support.
Should the auxiliary iron trivet be used during cooking, please
DO NOT turn the knob
to the maximum flame. The intense heat from the flame may soften and burn the trivet
until its surface turns red hot.

Trivet
Wipe and clean the trivet
regularly to prevent corrosion.
If the tip of the sensor is covered up with food residue caused by burnt overflow, porridge and
so on, please
DO NOT
use rough metal scour or scrapper to clean it as this may dent and spoil
the sensitivity of the sensor’s tip.
Turn the ignition knob back to ‘OFF
’ position (Step 1), and
DO NOT
attempt to reignite the gas
cooker.
Use only soft brush, sponge or soft cloth with warm water and dishwashing detergent
(Step 2)
. Wipe off the
dirt or food residue covering the tip of the sensor prior to igniting the gas
cooker again (Step 3) .

detergent.

sharp chisel or scraper to
clean the glass surface when
