GAS COOKER INSTALLATION
Gas Hose Connection
Ensure that the gas hose
is not in contact with any
part of the gas cooker
while cooking.

Use only the type of gas
specified on the side label.
If the type of gas used is incorrect,
it can cause combustion, carbon
monoxide poisoning, fire, and
other hazards.

Gas Hose Installation
DO NOT diversify
the gas supply line. This may cause gas leaks,
which can results in an explosion or gas intoxication.
ONLY
use an
approved gas hose.
Do not use a PVC hose
as it has low heat
resistance. Minimise hose joining and avoid using
“Y” or “T”
connector.
The connection of the gas cooker
MUST
be performed
by a qualified person according to L.P. Gas standards.
Fit the certified ZENNE LPG hose
( BS3212 : MS2086 )
tightly over
the end of the gas supply line and secure it with a hose clip. If the
rubber hose is not secured tightly, it may cause a gas leak or even
an explosion.
Ensure that the gas hose is cut to the correct length
(
less than 2 m
)
and not bent during installation.
( ONLY Applicable
in Malaysia )
Gas hose is too short. The stress and tension
caused
by
stretching may break the gas hose in the long term.
The hose connection at either the regulator or behind
the gas cooker can easily be loosened.
A sharp bend
on
the
gas hose can
affect gas flow. The affected section
may crease, wrinkle or even puncture.
Hose
entangled in loops
. This may
slow down gas flow.
Bending, twisting or stretching may break the gas hose and cause a gas leak.

50mm off hose end.

• It is recommended for the gas hose to be
replaced every three years
.
When replacing gas hose, trim off
50mm
from the connecting end of the new hose
(as shown in the diagram).
This is to prevent any loose connections
that may cause gas leak.
• Sometimes, the end of the connecting
hose may have been overtightened or
torn. Thus, the part would have weakened
or lost its durability and elasticity in the
long term.
Perform a leak test on the
connections after changing
the hose to avoid any gas
leaks. (Please refer to Page 2
on ‘Detecting A Gas Leak’)
