IR4200-001_v01
The iron has a memory function to save the
last temperature setting. The saving is done
when the iron is switched off with the ON/OFF/
Temperature Increase Button “
”. When
switched on again, the unit will return to its
operation with the last temperature setting.
First use
1
Proceed as described in the “Before first use” section.

Press the
ON/OFF/Temperature Increase Button
“
” to set the maximum temperature (“
”).

Press the
Steam ON/OFF Button
“ ” to activate the
steam. You will hear a single sound signal and the steam
icon on the LCD will change to “
”.
The device generates high temperature steam;
to avoid burns the steam is OFF by default.

Put your hand on the iron handle to activate the steam
from the holes located in the soleplate. The icon “
”
will start flashing on the display.
The iron handle has a built-in sensor to activate
the steam (steam sensor). The steam is
activated only when you put your hand on the
handle.
After taking the hand off the iron, the icon
“
”
stops flashing and the steam stops
coming out from the holes in the soleplate.

The iron is ready for use.

Begin first time ironing with an old towel.
The iron will stop steaming once the water tank
is empty.
Ironing
Always follow the ironing instructions on the
garment’s care label.
FILLING THE IRON WITH WATER
●
Unplug the unit.

Open the
Water Tank Cover
.

Fill the tank with water using the supplied cup.
For best ironing results, it is recommended to
use fresh demineralised or distilled water.
Do not use chemically descaled water or any
other liquids

Never exceed the ‘Max’ level marked on the
side of the water tank.

Close the
Water Tank Cover
.
DRY IRONING

Proceed as described in the “Before First Use” section.

Press the
ON/OFF/Temperature Increase Button

” to set the temperature and the corresponding
settings (from “
” to “
”).

Type of fabric will start flashing on the display in order to
indicate warming up or cooling down of the iron.

The iron is ready for use.
STEAM IRONING

SPRAYING
This function can be used any time without
affecting any other settings.

Fill the water tank. See the “Filling the iron with water”
section.

Aim the nozzle at the garment.

Press the
Spray Button
.
It may be necessary to press the spray button
a few times to start spraying.
STEAM BURST
This function ensures extra amount of steam to remove
stubborn wrinkles (creases) from the ironed fabrics.

Proceed as described in the “Before first use” and
“STEAM IRONING” section.

Press the
Steam Burst Button
– steam will burst
from the holes of the soleplate.
