Charging the batteries
The batteries Type LR 06 are not charged when the device is delivered. Charge the batteries
with the supplied charger before using. Please read the enclosed operating instructions for
the charger. Insert the batteries and follow the correct orientation. Plug the charger into the
outlet.
After charging, remove the plug from the outlet. Do not disassemble the charger and do not
modify it. Charge the batteries at a temperature of 10°C to 35°C (and at the same battery
temperature). If the operating time has decreased greatly, even after correctly charging the
batteries, then the service life of the batteries has probably expired. In that case, purchase
new rechargeable batteries Type LR 06. Only use top-quality rechargeable batteries with at
least 2,400 mAh. With a fully charged battery set with a capacity of 2,400 mAh, you can
take approx. 100 images within approx. 1.5 hours of operation. The exact number of images
to be captured depends strongly on the conditions of use.
Always make sure that the monitor is only on as long as necessary. Using the OFF and
STANDBY functions prolongs the useful life of the battery set considerably. The remaining
battery output is displayed at the top right corner of the screen when the unit is ON.
If the display shows red bars and blinks, then the batteries must be charged or replaced
immediately.
Insert /Remove batteries
Make sure that the camera-eyepiece is turned off.
Remove the camera-eyepiece from the spotting scope to
change the batteries. Open the cover to the battery compart-
ment by turning the lock 45° to the left. Insert the batteries.
Watch for correct polarity according to the symbols on the
battery compartment.
Close the battery compartment and turn the cover to the
right to the stop position. Now reposition the camera onto
the spotting scope.
