Factory setting – automatic operation
In the factory setting, operation in heating mode is deactivated and the Zenia heater
functions as a multifunctional bathroom heater. Bathroom usage and showering
habits can vary greatly. For this reason, every day is the same in the factory setting
and none of the 4 Zenia functions are programmed. You should configure the daily
and weekly programmes with the functions via the app based on your individual
needs, either by yourself or with the help of your specialist company.
When you switch the Zenia heater to heating mode, a daily programme and a weekly
programme are provided. You should adapt these programmes to your individual needs via
the app, with the help of your specialist company if necessary.

Installation instructions for qualified personnel
Installation instructions
The Zehnder Zenia scope of delivery includes installation instructions as well as
these operating instructions. As qualified personnel, please read both documents
carefully before carrying out installation and commissioning. The explanations given
in this chapter in particular also relate to the installation instructions.
Installation must adhere to the applicable standards and the recognised technical
regulations of the country in which the radiator is installed. For example, installation must
comply with the relevant European and national standards – such as CEI 60364.7.701
and NF C15-100 for France, and VDE 0100 for Germany – and the recognised technical
regulations.

The power supply must be protected using a residual-current protective switch
with a rated current up to 30 mA, particularly in the case of installation in a wet
room with a bathtub or shower.
