Eco mode for “Fast drying” function
An Eco mode can be set for the “Fast drying” function via the app. When this
function is activated, the fan of the integrated boost heater runs constantly, but the
1000 W heating register runs on a cycle (3 min on / 3 min off). This saves 50% of
the power consumption when drying textiles.
Fan run-on
Following operation of the boost heater (“Boost function”, “Towel warming” and
“Fast drying” functions), the fan continues running for 8 seconds so the heat does
not build up in the unit.
Simultaneous operation of functions
The “Boost function”, “Towel warming” and “Fast drying” functions cannot be
selected at the same time. If one of these three functions is selected while another
of the three is still active, the active function is stopped and the new function is
started without interruption.
The “Heated front face” function can be selected at the same time as one of the
other three functions.
Standby mode
In normal operation, the standby indicator light is always on. All
functions can be selected via the control panel on the Zenia heater.
Automatic functions are running (via weekly and daily programmes).
Pressing the standby key on the control panel stops all current
functions (including automatic functions) and the standby indicator
light goes out (and 2 short beeps can be heard). In this state (off), no
functions can be selected on the control panel.
Pressing the standby key again switches the Zenia heater back on
(indicator light is illuminated and a short beep sounds) and reactivates
the automatic functions. Functions that were manually selected on the
control panel must be switched back on manually.
Note for people with disabilities
There is a finger recess below the standby symbol to enable visually
impaired people to find the standby key. For people who are not able to
see, there is a short beep when switching on and two short beeps when
switching off.
Main switch
The Zenia heater can be disconnected from the power supply (e.g. so
Zehnder Service can carry out repair work) using the main switch in the
inner case. Please make sure that the power is not switched off
accidentally at the main switch.
