If a Scuba air compressor
is available, then the Filling
Whip Adapter shown below
would be the preferred
method of filling the SBA. The
330-FA52-AA Filling Whip
Adapter (Fig 8), is attached
to the SBA in the same
manner described earlier
for the Transfiller. Turn the
SBA’s Valve Handwheel fully
counter-clockwise to open it.

Attach a Scuba Yoke Valve
Filling Whip on the other end of
the Filling Whip Adapter. The
Valve and Bleed Screw on the
Scuba Filling Whip are used in
the same manner as the Tank
Valve and Bleed Collar on the
Transfiller procedure describing
in this manual earlier. Remember
that the working pressure of the
SBA’s cylinder is 3000 psi (207
Bar). DO NOT OVERFILL THE
SBA CYLINDER. Allow the SBA
cylinder to cool to room tem-
perature to get the final pressure
reading on the SBA’s HP Port
Pressure Gauge.
