DPI is the statistical information of user service types obtained by inspecting the 4th and higher layers of the packets
transmission through the WLC. It is very useful for analyzing user behavior. This requires the Wi-Fi system is operating in
the “Central Switching” mode, i.e., the user traffic is firstly concentrated to WLC and then centralized forwarded to
internet.
