Radius server is the core element in Wi-Fi system for user authentication behind the portal server. It contains all
registered users information in its database, and matches the username and password coming from the portal server
with the information contained in the Radius server for user authentication. Hyperion series WLC has a built-in Radius
server, so it can use an internal Radius server or an external Radius server according to customer requirement.
