Parameter
Description
Name
Enter the name for the firewall zone here.
Input
Select the input (incoming) action here. Options to choose from are
reject, drop, and accept.
Output
Select the output (outgoing) action here. Options to choose from are
reject, drop, and accept.
Forward
Select the forwarding action here. Options to choose from are reject,
drop, and accept.
Masquerading
Select this option to enable the masquerading function on the
firewall zone.
MSS clamping
Select this option to enable the MSS clamping function on the
firewall zone.
Covered networks
Select the interfaces that is included in this firewall zone here.
Multiple interfaces can be selected. Select the create option to create
a new interface for the firewall zone. Enter the name for the new
interface in the space provided.
