Cleaning the steam nozzle
Clean the steam nozzle immediately after use, especially
when it has been immersed in milk, tea or chocolate.
Otherwise, the nozzle clogs and may be damaged.
Proceed as follows:
o
immerse the steam nozzle in a pitcher filled with clean
water and heat the water with the steam knob controller
on the max position
for 20 seconds;
o
switch off the steam mode by turning the steam knob to
position 0;
o
place an empty pitcher under the steam nozzle;
o
turn the steam knob while pressing on the espresso
dispensing button for 30 seconds, the appliance pumps
the water from the water tank and ejects this water
through the steam nozzle;
o
press on the steam dispensing button
to exit the
steam mode and wipe the steam nozzle with a clean
cloth;
o
wait until the nozzle has cooled completely, remove the
nozzle tip and wipe it with a clean cloth.
Always unplug the appliance and let it cool
down before cleaning.
The appliance must not be immersed.
Never immerse its power cord and plug in water
or any other liquid.
Do not use sharp, toxic and aggressive
products, such as methylated spirits, industrial
strippers or solvents to clean your device
because they may damage it.
