If your Z-Systems Audio Laboratories product should fail to operate to specifications as a
result of manufacturing defect, the problem will be corrected by Z-Systems Audio
Laboratories without charge for labor, parts, or surface transportation to and from the factory
for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty holds for the original
purchaser only, and the unit must have been purchased from an authorized Z-Systems Audio
Laboratories dealer. The following situations are excluded from warranty coverage:
1.
A Z-Systems Audio Laboratories product under performance testing by a facility or
personnel not authorized by Z-Systems Audio Laboratories.
2.
A Z-Systems Audio Laboratories product not operated according to the instructions in this
manual.
3.
A Z-Systems Audio Laboratories product which, in the sole opinion of Z-Systems Audio
Laboratories, has been subject to accident, abuse, tampering, unauthorized modification,
neglect, or has had its serial number removed or defaced.
4.
Any consequential damage of any nature.
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights, and
some of these exclusions may not be applicable in your state.
We will assess freight charges for Z-Systems Audio Laboratories product returned under this
warranty and found by the factory to be operating in accordance with its stated
specifications.
In the event that your Z-Systems Audio Laboratories product requires warranty service, take
the unit, along with its packing material and proof of purchase, to any authorized Z-Systems
Audio Laboratories dealer. The dealer will take care of the repair. Direct shipments to the
factory are not accepted without a return authorization number. If you have any warranty

Z-Systems Audio Laboratories products sold outside the United States will be covered by the
warranty terms set by the importing distributor. These terms may be different from those
given above. If a Z-Systems Audio Laboratories product is removed from the country in which
the original purchase was made, Z-Systems Audio Laboratories distributors and/or dealers in
any subsequent country are not obligated by the terms of the warranty. Any repairs made
under the terms of this warranty will be at the discretion of the distributor or dealer.

Z-Systems Audio Laboratories manufactures a full line of digital tone control products as well
as analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog convertors. The products in the tone control line
currently include the rdq-1 reference digital equalizer, the rdp-1 reference digital preamplifier
and, this product, the rdq-6 six channel digital equalizer. To complement these products, Z-
