Application Note

Regardless of the VCN Mode selected and VCN channels programmed, the RF carrier frequency of the Output Channel
will still be occupied for all (4) four QAM channels of the ZIP Encode 004/008.

The  image  below  shows  CH  2  (57MHz),  CH  3  (63MHz),  CH  4  (69MHz),  and  CH  5  (79MHz)  will  be
occupied by setting the Z-IP Encode 004/008 to Ch 2, regardless of the VCN channels set.

RF1/VCN: 9.1/9.2

RF2/VCN: 15.1/16.1

        RF3/VCN: 22.1/22.2

    RF4/VCN: 100.1/134.1

The ZIP Encode 004/008 will automatically set the RF QAM frequency for the device once the Output
Channel  has  been  selected  and  saved.    (RF1/  QAM  channel  2,  RF2  /QAM  channel  3,  RF3/  QAM
channel 4, and RF4/ QAM channel 5).
