If you remove the battery while you are in the main menu or in a submenu,
all the current settings, which have not yet been confirmed, will be discarded and
the battery orientation screen appears.
After removal of the battery, the following functions are completed first before the
battery orientation screen appears:
Return of the threaded rod
Priming in progress
Standard bolus in progress
Immediate portion of the combination bolus in progress
Blind bolus in progress
If you remove the battery while any of the following functions are in progress, the
battery orientation screen appears and the function continues in the background
for 5 minutes until the alarm is triggered (alarms lead to a discontinuation of insulin
delivery):
Basal rate delivery
Temporary basal rate function in progress
Extended bolus in progress
Extended portion of the combination bolus in progress
