4.2 Photometric characteristics   

    The  photometric  characteristics  of  lights  are  in  accordance  with  the requirement  of ICAO 

and FAA specification as follows.

4.3 Mechanical characteristics         

The mechanical characteristics are as follows.

4.4 Construction quality 

4.4.1 A single lightweight aluminum box housing all the optical components 

4.4.2 A lightweight single cover with padlockable latches 

4.4.3 The optical groups shall consist each of: 

- Tungsten halogen lamp, prefocused 

- 99.99% pure aluminum reflector, polished and protected by anodic oxidation. 

- Through-colored red glass filter 

- Two high quality lenses in each beam to provide a constant transition zone which will 

not overpass 3 minutes of arc in any case. 

- Independent modules (one per channel) will not be permitted. Only (three lamp) single 

unit shall be accepted. 

4.4.4 A removable front glass in order to protect the lenses. No dispersive glass shall be 

set in the light path. 

4.4.5 Gaskets for cover and front glass. 

    4.4.6 Four adjustable mounting legs allowing the accurate setting of the unit. These legs 

will allow the adjustment in elevation of the transition zone betw. They will also allow 

the adjustment of the eight of the axis of the beam above the mounting concrete slab. 

4.4.7 Breakable couplings with 2 inch 11 TPI thread and mounting flanges.
