Low ambient temperature kit (ratiometric pres-
sure transducer) YLCA 5-15
To adjust condensing pressure at low ambient temperatures
(down to -18° C).
The kit is comprised of:
1 ratiometric pressure transducer.
1 Packard connector.
1 three-way connector.
Attention:
Install the kit with power supply to the
unit turned off.
Mounting pressure transducer on the cooling circuit
Screw the ratiometric transducer on to the free Schrader valve
located on the liquid line (YLCA). Check for leaks.
Mounting the Packard connector
Connect the three Packard connector cables to the three-way
connector and at the regulator module as indicated below.

Eliminate probe B3
Disconnect and remote probe B3 from the connecting strip
located on the coil (condensation/evaporation control).
Replace outdoor probe B4
Disconnect outdoor probe B4 from the rear of the control
module and reconnect it to the terminals that were occu-
pied by probe B3 (GND-B3). With this change, this probe
becomes B3.
Connection of the pressure transducer
Connect the pressure transducer to the three-way connector
that was occupied by B4, which is located at the rear of the
controller. Now this transducer becomes probe B4.
Modifying parameters
- Power the system.
- Select standby on the regulator.
- Enter the parameter programming system by means of the
password.
- Modify and check the following parameters in accordance
with the values indicated: /03= 2; /04= 3; F05= 22.2; F06=
3.7; F07= 6.5; P18= 41.
Start the unit and check operation.
