Installation Instructions
Horizontal Position
Mount unit with the help of MS rod channel for unit support & use 1/8“ to 1/4" thick fire proof resilient gasket between
duct, unit, and mounting support. Refer fig-9.
Connect the supply air duct to unit supply air opening flange. Use canvas connection between unit & supply air duct to
avoid the transmission of vibration to unit.
The MS frame should be made of min. 4mm thick burr free MS channel/angle and duly red oxide painted (field
supplied).
Proper condensate disposal
The method for condensate water disposal should be as per local codes restrictions and practices.
Use 25.4mm (1") ID pipe or rubber hose to connect with GI nipple of unit to dispose the condensate water from
unit to termination point.
Condensate drain pipe should be terminated near to recommended drain trap or soak pits.
While installing the unit make sure that drain slope should be away from the unit.
In case the termination point or drain trap far away from unit, install 50 mm (2") trap using a field supplied clamp at
the condensate connection to Ensure proper drainage.
Ensure that the trap outlet should be 57 mm (2 ¼”) at a lower level than the unit drain pan condensate connection
to avoid over flowing of condensate water as shown in fig-10.
Don’t use shallow running drain traps.
