2. Rotate control dial so that arrow points to
desired gap width with desired control action.
3. When measurement pointer (moving within
gap) coincides with setting index, output (on
output gauge) should change suddenly. If this
change does not occur when the two are in line,
adjust set point index.
(7) Adjusting the Batch Attachment
As far as possible, do not manipulate the batch
attachment adjustments. It is factory-adjusted
to operate on a signal pressure of 1.0 kgf/cm
2
(100kPa, 1.0 bar, 15 psi). To change the operating
point, adjust the batch attachment according to the
following procedure:
a) Remove the batch attachment.
It can be removed by loosening the two
mounting screws.
b) Connect tubing to the batch attachment as
shown in Figure below. Loosen the lock nut
on top of the batch attachment. Turning the
operating point adjustment clockwise increases
the operating point.
c) Adjust the regulator until the desired pressure
is supplied to the input port (marked IN). If
air is ejected from the output side (OUT), the
operating point is excessively high. In this
case, turn the operating point adjustment
counterclockwise, until the point is found where
the air is no longer ejected from the output side
and starts being ejected from the load side.
d) Tighten the lock nut.
e) Attach the batch attachment with the two
mounting screws.
Note: Do not disturb the adjustment (painted red) on the bottom
of the batch attachment.
