3.8  Checking Communication Status 

The communication status of the FA Link H2 module can be checked using a 
personal computer and the WideField3 software package, which can be 
procured separately from Yokogawa. 
Connect the personal computer to the programming port of the CPU module 
in any station using a special-purpose cable for the programming tool and 
start WideField3.  You can check the communication status on the FA Link 
Status Monitor window. 
This section explains how to operate the FA Link Status Monitor.  For details 
on the WideField3 software, read the FA-M3 Programming Tool WideField3 
User’s Manuals (IM34M06Q16-01E, -02E, -03E, and -04E), which can be 
procured separately from Yokogawa.
