3.4 Relative Value Measurement
Measuring the Optical Power Differential
You can display the difference (dB) from a reference value (REF).
1.
In absolute value measurement mode, press the
dBm/W
key while holding
down the
ENTER
key. The measured value at the time the key was
pressed is set as the reference value, and relative measurement begins.
2. The units for relative measurement reference value are fixed at dBm.
There is no W unit display.

Each time you press the
dBm/W
key while holding down the
ENTER
key, the reference value is updated.
Only measured values can be set as the reference value. Arbitrary
values cannot be specified.
