To configure the backlight via phone user interface:
1.
Tap ->Basic-> Display-> General.
2.
Tap the pull-down list of Brightness Level and then select the desired level.
3.
Tap the pull-down list of Backlight Level and then select the desired level.
4.
Tap the pull-down list of Backlight Time and then select the desired backlight time.
5.
Press the Save soft key to accept the change.
Several setting menus are protected with two privilege levels, user and administrator,
each with its own password. When logging in the web user interface, you need to enter
the username and password for granting access to various menu options.
A user or an administrator can change the user password. The IP phones support ASCII
characters 32-126(0x20-0x7E) only in passwords.
Procedure
User password can be changed using the configuration files or locally.
