DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT
The rope winch is designed to carry out transport and assembly work which require the use of considerable static forces. It cannot be applied as a
pulling device to be permanently installed, or as a winch for lifting up cargoes.
SAFETY RECOMMENDATION
The pulling device is a mechanical machinery operating under heavy load. While operating this one should obey the basic principles of safety.
Before the beginning of work one should read instructions and follow them.
Launching winch has not been designed for moving men or animals.
One should check the state of the rope. In case any protruding filaments have been discovered, or any distortion of transverse section of rope
(II) has been found, it is forbidden to carry out work. The rope must be replaced with a new one, in order to do that please contact the authorised
service point.
During the operation of the winch the rope must not be in contact with any sharp edges, e.g. corners.
Do not fix moved cargoes by binding them around with rope and attaching the hook to the rope.
The winch must not be overloaded. Pay attention to the maximum load written in the data plate.
One should not leave the assembled hydraulic arrangement of the winch without attention. In the vicinity of operation or storage of the pulling device
one must not allow children or any person not instructed about the operation of the winch to be present.
Applying any extensions fixed on the frame of launching winch is forbidden.
Always leave at least three laps of rope wound on drum, it will permit to avoid any superfluous stresses.
One should assure that all units (such as hooks, clamps, etc.), to which launching winch will be connected, will hold out the loads occurring during
the operation of the winch.
Applying the winch for lifting up cargoes is forbidden!
It is required that during operation of the winch, the service should observe the handled item for all the time. It is especially important, that no people
or animals should come in the way of the moved load.
The operators should not wear loose clothes, as well as jewellery. Long hair should be pinned up.
One should apply the means of personal protection.
If pulling device requires repairs, one should contact the authorised repairing workshop.
Be aware, do not work when you are tired, or if you are affected by medicines.
OPERATION OF THE WINCH
Pulling out of the rope
Attach the immobile hook to the immobile basis.
Move the lever of arm blocking in the direction A (I).
Lift the arm of the winch slightly and keep it firmly fixed in position C (I).
Move the lever of reel blocking in the direction D (I).
Pull out the demanded length of rope.
Moving a load or stretching the rope
Put the lever of arm blocking in position B (I).
Move the arm until the required stress of the rope has been achieved or the load has been moved.
Letting off the stressed rope
Put the lever of arm blocking in position A (I).
Move the arm of the winch into such a position that the cog of the lever of arm blocking releases the blocking of the reel. The reel will jump over about
one tooth. Repeat the operation, until the required relaxation of the rope has been achieved.
MAINTENANCE
The pulling device should be protected from moisture. It should not be exposed to unfavourable atmospheric conditions, especially precipitation.
The pulling device should be kept clean, free from any grease. One should lubricate with oil every movable units.
One should periodically check the state of pulling device for the presence of rust.
Before every use, one should check the technical state of pulling device.
In case any damages have been noticed, using of the pulling device
is strongly
prohibited.
In such a case the pulling device should be sent to an authorised service point.
