General Information and Safety Instructions
YASKAWA supplies component parts for use in a wide variety of industrial applications. The selection and application of YASKAWA products
remain the responsibility of the equipment designer or end user. YASKAWA accepts no responsibility for the way its products are incorporated into

designed to incorporate a component part manufactured by YASKAWA must be supplied to the end user with appropriate warnings and instructions

Receiving
Please perform the following tasks after receiving the drive:
• Inspect the drive for damage. If the drive appears damaged upon receipt, contact your supplier.
• Verify receipt of all components.
• Verify receipt of the correct model by checking the information on the nameplate. If you have received the wrong model contact your supplier.
Nameplate
To check the nameplate, remove the front cover and look on the inside of the IP66 enclosure. Refer to
Removing the Front Cover on page 9
for
instructions.
