Speedometer
The speedometer shows the vehicle’s
traveling speed.
“MPH” (miles per hour) comes on when
the display is set to miles, and “km/h”
(kilometers per hour) comes on when
the display is set to kilometers.
Tachometer
The electric tachometer allows the rider
to monitor the engine speed and keep it
within the ideal power range.
When the key is turned to “ON”, all of
the display segments of the tachometer
will sweep once across the r/min range
and then return to zero r/min in order to
test the electrical circuit.
Fuel meter
The fuel meter indicates the amount of
fuel in the fuel tank.
The display segments of the fuel meter
disappear from “F” (full) towards “E”
(empty) as the fuel level decreases.
When “
” starts flashing, refuel as
soon as possible. When the key is
turned to “ON”, all of the display seg-
ments of the fuel meter will appear for a
few secondsand then show the actual
fuel level.
Odometer, tripmeter and oil change
tripmeter modes
Push the “SELECT” button to switch
the display among the odometer mode
“ODO”, the tripmeter mode “TRIP” and
the oil change tripmeter mode “OIL
CHANGE” in the following order:
ODO
TRIP
OIL CHANGE
ODO
TIP
If the odometer, tripmeter, or oil change
tripmeter modes indicates “-----”, have
a Yamaha dealer check the multi-func-
tion display.

The odometer shows the total distance
