11 * Cylinder head
• Check the coolant passages for
corrosion.
• Inspect carbon deposits and elim-
inate them.
• Check for warpage, and replace
the gasket.

12 * Cylinder
• Inspect score marks.

• Inspect wear.

13 Engine oil
• Check the engine oil amount.
 
• Replace.
 
14 Oil filter element • Replace.
 
15 * Oil strainer • Clean.

16 * Clutch
• Inspect housing, friction plate,
clutch plate and spring.
 
• Replace.

17 * Transmission
• Inspect.

• Replace bearings.

18 * Shift fork, shift cam,
guide bar
• Inspect wear.

19 * Nut (generator rotor) • Check for tightening torques.
 
20 * Exhaust pipe,
silencer, protector
• Check for exhaust leaks, and
tightening torques.
 
• Clean.

• Replace fiver.
(When the exhaust sound
becomes louder or when a perfor-
mance drop is felt.)
 
21 * Crankshaft • Inspect and clean.
 
22 * Throttle body • Inspect.

23 Air filter
• Clean and lubricate.
 
• Replace.

24 * Breather system
• Check ventilation hose for cracks
or damage and drain any depos-
its.

• Replace. Every two years

25 Spark plug
• Check the electrodes and the ter-
minals for wear.
 
• Replace.

26 * Cooling system
• Check coolant level and leakage.
 
• Check radiator cap operation.

• Check radiator cap attached.
 
• Change the coolant. Every two years

• Inspect hoses.

27 * Engine guard • Replace.

28 * Frame • Clean and inspect.
 
29 * Fuel tank, fuel pump • Inspect.
 
