Speed sensor inspection
1. Pickup
• Check that the pickup is installed at the spec-
ified location on the bike.
• Check that the pickup is not damaged.
2. Magnet sensor
a. Check that the magnet sensor is not dam-
aged.
b. Check that no metallic foreign material has
adhered to the magnet sensor.
c. Check that the magnetic surface of the mag-
net sensor is facing the sensing point on the
pickup.
d. Install the magnet sensor to match the cen ter
of the magnet sensor and the cutout point

e. Check that the center location of the magnet
sensor

is within specification.
