CARBURETOR / REED VALVE

Adjustment steps:

• Take out the carburetor
• Inspect the valve seat and the float cham-

ber valve.

• If either of the two parts is worn, change

both.

• Check the petrol level again

• Rubber gasket

Deteriorated

Inspection steps:

• Visually inspect the reed valve

NOTE

A proper reed valve should install in aligned
or almost aligned with the neoprene base.

•In the event of any doubt about sealing

apply suction to the part in the carburetor
mounting

• Any leaks must be moderate
