Tighten.
Tap the spokes with a screwdriver.
A tight spoke will emit a clear, ringing tone, a
loose spoke will sound flat.
4. Tighten:

After tightening the spokes, measure the front
wheel runout.

Replace.
Tire valve stem locknut
After mounting a new tire, ride conserva-
tively for a while to become accustomed to
the “feel” of the new tire and to allow the
tire to seat itself properly in the rim. Failure
to do so could lead to an accident with pos-
sible injury to the rider or damage to the
motorcycle.
After a tire has been repaired or replaced,
be sure to tighten the tire valve stem lock-
nut

to specification.
