REMOVING THE CARBURETOR

Gasoline is highly flammable.
Avoid spilling fuel on the hot engine.

1. Remove:

battery

seat assembly with battery box

2. Remove:

starter relay

(T135SE)

3. Remove:

positive lead

(from the battery box)

4. Remove:

negative lead
(from the frame)

5. Loosen:

rear cowling (left)
Refer to “REMOVING THE REAR COWL-
INGS” in chapter 3.
