Adjusting the ski spring preload
The spring preload can be adjusted by turning the spring
preload adjuster

The left and right ski spring preload must be set to
the same setting. Uneven settings can cause poor
handling and loss of stability.

This shock absorber contains highly pressurized
nitrogen gas. It could explode by improper handling,
causing injury, or property damage.

Do not tamper with or attempt to open the shock
absorber.
●
Do not subject the shock absorber to an open
flame or other high heat source, which could
cause it to explode.
●
Do not deform or damage the shock absorber in
any way.
●
Do not dispose of a worn or damaged shock
absorber by yourself. Take the unit to a Yamaha
dealer.
