TIP:
The start-in-gear protection device prevents
the engine from starting except when in neu-
tral.
(2) Turn the main switch to “
” (on) and
make sure that the DEC alert indicator
comes on in blue. The engine cannot be
started if the DEC alert indicator comes
on in orange.
(3) Push the “STATION” switch. Station
change is only possible when all control
levers have been set to “ ” (neutral).
Make sure that the DEC alert indicator
comes on in blue.
(4) The procedure until starting the engine is
the same as that of the single station
models.
NOTICE:
Never turn the main
switch to “
” (start) while the en-
gine is running. Do not keep the start-
er motor turning for more than 5
seconds. If the starter motor is turned
continuously for more than 5 seconds,
the battery will be quickly discharged,
thus making it impossible to start the
engine. The starter can also be dam-
aged. If the engine will not start after 5
seconds of cranking, return the main
switch to “
” (on), wait 10 seconds,
then crank the engine again.

tronic control.
