(3) Make sure that the idle speed is stable

when the throttle is opened and closed
for several times.

NOTE:

If the idle speed is not stable, disassemble
and readjust the carburetor.

Adjustment steps

(1) Turn the idling stop screw 

 of carbu-

retor in direction 

 or 

 until the spec-

ified engine idle speed is obtained.

(2) Check the engine idling stability by

opening and closing the throttle for
several times.  If engine idling is unsta-
ble, adjust the pilot screw.

NOTE:

After adjustment, open and close the throttle for
several times and keep it idling for at least 15
seconds. Check if engine idle speed is stable.
