Checking the air filters

The air filters must be checked at the intervals
specified in the periodic maintenance chart.
In addition, replace the air filter elements dur-
ing every other inspection.

To check an air filter:
(1) Open the engine hood. (See page 60.)
(2) Disconnect the breather hose from the air
