5.2 Pocket
Word
Microsoft Pocket Word works with Microsoft Word on your desktop computer to
give you easy access to copies of your documents. You can create new documents
on your Yakumo alpha GPS or you can copy documents from your desktop
computer. Synchronize documents between your desktop computer and your
Yakumo alpha GPS regularly so that you have the most up-to-date content in both
locations.
Tap
Programs
and tap the
Pocket Word
icon to switch to the program.
Creating a Document
1.
In Pocket Word, tap
New
.
NOTE:
To open a template rather than a blank document, select a template for new
documents. Tap
Tools
Options
and select the desired template. When you tap
New
,
the template appears with appropriate text and formatting already provided.
2. You can enter information in Pocket Word in one of four modes: writing,
drawing, typing or recording. Use the
View
menu to switch between modes.
Each mode has its own toolbar, which you can show and hide by tapping
the
Tap to change the sort order of the list.
Tap to open a document.
Tap and hold an item to see a pop-up
menu of actions.
Tap to create a new document.
Select the type of folder you want displayed in the list.
