Ensure the power is off and unplug the AC adapter
from the main unit.

To clean the electrode head, wipe it with a damped
and well-wrung cloth to remove dirt. Wash the cotton
stopper with water.
• Remove the cotton stopper from the main unit, and wash it with water then wipe
dry.
• Refrain from using an alkali cleaning agent, alcohol, thinner, benzene, nail polish
remover, or other such substance.
• Do not leave the unit with lotion or gel on it.

Wipe off any dirt from areas other than the electrode
head and cotton stopper with a dry cloth.

Storing
● If you will not be using the device for an extended period, clan the device before
storing.
● When the device is not in use, turn off the main body and disconnect the AC adapter
from the main body and wall outlet.
● Avoid storing the device near a stove or heater or in a bathroom or other
high-temperature/high-humidity location, location where there is exposure to direct
sunlight, or unstable location.
● Keep the device out of the reach of children or pets.
Maintenance and inspections
● If you have not used the device for an extended period, inspect it carefully and check
that the device works properly and safely.
● If the device is malfunctioning, go to "Checklist for Possible Problems" (page 18 to 19)
and attempt to identify the problem before arranging to have the device repaired. If the
problem persists, contact your local distributor (see page 21).
● If the device malfunctions, appears damaged, or needs service, please contact your
local distributor.
