Note
While the HOLD function is active, you can for example start a manual
measurement with stability control.
Stability control
(AutoRead )
The stability control function (AutoRead) continuously checks the sta-
bility of the measurement signal. The stability has a considerable
impact on the reproducibility of the measured value. The display of the
measured parameter flashes until the measured value is stable.
Regardless of the setting for automatic
Stability control
4.4.3) in the
System
menu, you start the
Stability control
function man-
ually at any time.
Note
You can prematurely terminate the
Stability control
function with
<MENU/ENTER>
at any time. If the
Stability control
function is prema-
turely terminated, the current measurement data are output to the inter-
face without AutoRead info.
Criteria for a stable
measured value
The
Stability control
function monitors whether the measured values
are stable during the monitored time interval.
2
Release the frozen measured value again with
<AR>
.
The HOLD function is switched off.
The [HOLD] status indicator disappears.
1
Freeze the measured value with
<AR>
.
The [HOLD] status indicator is displayed.

Use
<MENU/ENTER>
to activate the
Stability control
function
manually.
While the measured value is being assessed as not stable, the
[AR] status indicator appears. A progress bar is displayed and
the display of the measured parameter flashes.
As soon as a measured value is assessed as stable, the
[HOLD][AR] status indicator appears. The progress bar disap-
pears and the display of the measured parameter no longer
flashes.
The current measurement data are output to the interface.
Measurement data that meet the criterion for stability control
are given the addition AR.
3
Using
<MENU/ENTER>
, start a further measurement with
Sta-

.
or
Release the frozen measured value again with
