Appendix B. MJK- Field Link Software
The MJK-Field Link software package provides several utilities that will be
described in detail on the following pages:
• PC <-> Oxix
®
transmitter interconnection
• Saving log data
• Display fi rmware upgrade
• Converter fi rmware upgrade
• Language installation
Important Notes!
1. Current Oxix
®
log data must be saved in a fi le before transferring and
installing new fi rmware. See "2. Save Log Data" overleaf.
2. Note down all display and converter settings before upgrading new
fi rmware.
3. The upgrade procedures below must be carried out in strict alphabetical
order. First procedure A, then B, C, D and fi nally E.
A. Connect a PC to the Oxix
®
1. Insert the Oxix
®
MJK-Field Link CD-ROM into the PC's disk drive.
The MJK-Field Link opening menu will appear after a short while (see be-
low). If the auto-run function does not execute, locate the
"MJK-Field-Link 840110-007.exe" fi le (or a similar fi le) and click "Run".
