6. TROUBLESHOOTING
After performing the user troubleshooting checks:
Batteries partially charged: check and recharge the
batteries; replace them if necessary.
QU3 fuse carrier open or blown fuse: check the fuse carrier
and, if necessary, replace the fuse
The control unit does not switch
on
Connections to battery terminals corroded or loose: clean,
examine and tighten the nuts on the battery terminals.
Replace the cable terminals and nuts if they are too
corroded
Line power failure: check the line wire and voltage.
Alternating voltage failure alarm
QU1 fuse carrier open or blown fuses: check the fuse
carrier and, if necessary, replace the fuses
A battery voltmeter shows no
voltage
Battery disconnected: Connections to battery terminals
corroded or loose: clean, examine and tighten the nuts on
the battery terminals. Replace the cable terminals and nuts
if they are too corroded.
Install a new battery if not present.
Reversed polarity: disconnect the battery and reconnect
properly
Battery disconnected: Connections to battery terminals
corroded or loose: clean, examine and tighten the nuts on
the battery terminals. Replace the cable terminals and nuts
if they are too corroded.
Install a new battery if not present.
Shorted terminals: replace the battery or, if it is still
efficient, restore the connections.
Internal battery charger alarm
(alarm LED on)
Battery voltage value too low: replace the battery
Line power failure: check the line wire and voltage
QU1 fuse carrier open or blown fuses: check the fuse
carrier and, if necessary, replace the fuses
Internal battery charger off
(LEDs off)
Starting relay blown
Batteries discharged or disconnected: Connections to
battery terminals corroded or loose: clean, examine and
tighten the nuts on the battery terminals. Replace the
cable terminals and nuts if they are too corroded.
Install a new battery if none is present or if the one being
used is discharged
Both starting relays blown
With the selector switch in MAN
position and the START button
depressed, the motor pump
does not start
Control unit failure
