3. Remove the shaft assembly (shaft unit, bearing holder, bearings).

4.5.8 Remove the bearings

1. Remove the retaining ring.
2. Remove the bearing housing.

Use a press or the dismantling tool and make sure that the bearing housing is evenly
supported during the removal of the main bearing.

NOTICE:

Only use a puller with three claws. Otherwise, the bearing housing can be damaged.

3. Remove the main bearing.

Use a press or the dismantling tool and make sure that the bearing housing is evenly
supported during the removal of the main bearing.
