Cabling Requirements
The terminals on the termination card in the AutoPulse VLC will accept single conductor sizes of up to 2.5sq
mm (12 AWG).
3.1
Power Cables
Use the power ratings for the detector to determine the required wire sizes.
The power requirements for the detector to operate are as follows:

Operating voltage: 24 VDC Nominal (18 VDC to 30 VDC)
l
Current consumption: 205mA nominal.
3.2
Power Sources
The VLC-605 unit shall source its operating power from the AutoPulse control panel Auxiliary 24 VDC output.
Optionally (24 VDC) operating power can be sourced from a battery backed UL listed (UL 1481) power supply
or equivalent.
