Pay special attention to the correct clamping of the workpiece. Improper clamping of the
workpiece can cause it to come loose and eject the workpiece towards the machine
operator, resulting in injury.

Switch on the machine and wait until the engine has reached maximum speed. Then
place the grinder on the surface of the workpiece together with a slight forward
movement.

Move the sander slowly over the workpiece surface. Use the main handle to move the
sander while the front handle maintains the correct direction.

choosing the right type and grit of the sanding belt to achieve the optimal quality of the finished

Keeping the sander running in the same spot on the workpiece surface will cause
unwanted uneven surface quality.

If the sanding belt comes loose or is misaligned, you may be applying too much force to
the machine. Lift the grinder off the workpiece surface. If you adjust the alignment of the
sanding belt to the correct setting, the sanding belt will return to the normal and correct
position on the drive and front rollers.
•
For rough sanding, use a sanding belt with a
lower grit
, not
greater force
. The weight of
the device is adequate and exerts adequate pressure in the correct distribution.
Excessive pressure will result in the following:
•
Uneven workpiece surface.
•
Clogging of the sanding belt.
•
Premature wear of the sanding belt.
•
Possible engine damage.
•
Irregular sanding belt alignment.
•
The front roller of the device is not designed for contour grinding. Grinding with the front
roller can cause irregularities in the alignment of the sanding belt and damage the roller
itself or reduce the belt lifespan.
