5. INTENDED USE
The Cordless belt sander is designed for sanding various types of materials, such as wood,
metal or plastic. It can be used to quick and comfortable sanding of beams, laths, boards or other
wooden materials, as well as rust removal from metal materials, faded and old paints, varnishes
or sealants. It is also used for pre-final and final surface treatment before the application of new
coatings and varnishes.
Speed and great material removal are the main benefits of the belt sander. Therefore, it can find
the most common use at sanding larger, flat surfaces. A typical use is coarse sanding of flat, board
material, but it can also be used at sanding workpieces of smaller dimensions.
The key advantage is the ability to combine and use sanding belts of different types, binders and
grits depending on the treated material and the finished surface requirements.
