Warm Docking
To utilize the warm docking capabilities of the GeneSys utilize the following steps:
1. If the computer is docked and is powered on then press the red warm docking button.
2. Once the system message has appeared on the screen, the tablet can be safely removed
from the dock.
3. Once the tablet has been removed, press the “Okay” button in the message box.
4. This system can now be used remotely as needed.
5. To re-dock the tablet onto the dock, simply re-mount the tablet onto the dock.
6. Once the green dock indicator light appears, the tablet is ready to be utilized again.
Note: It may take a few seconds for the green dock indicator light to appear and for all peripherals
connected to the dock to be recognized by the tablet after re-docking.
This function is only
available on the Xpander Plus and GeneSys Quick Dock Plus.
If the system is already powered on, but it has not been undocked and the user wants to dock the
tablet, then follow steps 5 and 6.
Approved Accessory Drivers
The drivers for Xplore’s accessories can be accessed in the X_Disks folder, which resides in the
Options folder under the Windows folders. These drivers can be accessed when a new
accessory is added to the system during the hardware setup browsing process.
