Sort Channels
This option sorts the channels on the channel list according to criteria as encryption, Frequency,
etc.
The previous sort is replaced.
Aspect Ratio
This setting define the picture format of your TV
and how the content with different Aspect Ratio be
adapted for your TV.
Auto (for 16/9 TV. 4:3 or wide screen content
will be full screen displayed with the picture
distorted. Further adaption will be done by the
TV.)
4:3 Pan Scan (for 4:3 TV. Content with differ-
ent Aspect Ratio will be possibly full-screen
displayed, without distortion but with information lost.)
4:3 Letterbox (for 4:3 TV. Content with different Aspect Ratio will be displayed without distor-
tion but with “black bar”.)
16:9 Pillar box ( for 16/9 TV, Content with different Aspect Ratio will be displayed without
distortion but with “black bar”.)
16:9 Pan scan (for 16/9 TV. 16/9 Broadcast will be full-screen displayed without distortion. 4/3
Broadcast will be displayed without distortion but with the picture enlarged. This setting is
especially suitable for 4/3 Letter box programs to reduce the “black bar”.)
You can switch among these alternatives with the
ASPECT
button during live program.
Resolution
Define the HDMI output resolution
576i (PAL) / 480i (NTSC)
576p (PAL) / 480p (NTSC)
720p
1080i
1080p
Note:
Please note the manual of your TV and the correction resolution.
TV Format
Define the colour system for the AV output (PAL or NTSC) and frame rate for the HDMI output (50
Hz or 60 Hz).
Video Output
You can define the signal type at the SCART port. Generally RGB offers the best picture quality.
