5. Make sure the paper edge is clean and straight. Open the sprocket covers, fit the first holes of the
paper to the sprocket pins and then close the sprocket covers. Slide the right sprocket to remove
any slack from the paper and lock it in place (As shown below). Now the paper is in the ready
position.
6. Hold the paper guide horizontally and install it according to the following figure, then lock it in the
direction shown by the arrow.
7. Slide the right and left guide tracks of the paper guide to make them stop at the triangular mark on
the paper guide. (As shown below)
8. Make sure the window is closed. Turn on the printer, and Press LOAD/EJECT button to feed
paper. You can adjust the printing home position according to Micro-Adjust of Printing Home
Position and Tear-off Position if necessary. When the printer receives command, it begins printing
automatically.

Note: Only when removing the jammed paper at the time the printer is turned off, can you
use the paper feed knob on the right side of the printer. Otherwise, the printer may be
damaged or the printing home position may be changed.
