NOTE:
The [Image Adjustment] button is inactive and cannot be selected when the
[Paper/Output] tab > [Output Color] is [Black and White].
RGB Color Correction
- Sets the color correction method for the RGB images on
your document.

Perceptual
- Optimizes the rendering of photographic images by preserving all
tonal gradations.

Saturation
- Optimizes the rendering of business graphics by preserving the
saturation of colors.

Relative Colorimetric
- Preserves in-gamut colors and represents out-of-
gamut colors by the closest match.

Absolute Colorimetric
- Does not map the white in the images to the white of
the output paper. Depending on the [RGB Color Temperature] setting, the
white in the images may be printed with a tint of color.
Source RGB profile
- Sets RGB profile. The [Enter RGB profile] setting will be
applied in conjunction with the [RGB Color Correction] setting. [Adobe RGB (1998)]
is the RGB profile of Adobe Systems Incorporated. [Adobe RGB (1998)] may not
accurately reproduce the tones of highly saturated graphics.
RGB Gamma Correction
- Adjusts the brightness of the RGB images on your
document. Select a value depending on the monitor being used. The larger the
value, the darker the output.
RGB Color Temperature
- Adjusts the color temperature of your monitor to match
the on-screen colors to the printed output colors.

- Colors become slightly more yellowish than [6500K (D65)].

- Colors become slightly more bluish than [6500K (D65)].
Image Types
- Sets the type of your document.
NOTE:
[Image Types] appears only when [Basic Features] is selected.
Standard
- Optimizes the printing of business documents that consist of texts and
graphs.
Photos
- Suitable for printing photographic images and optimizes the reproduction
of gradations. This is ideal for images represented in sRGB.
Presentation
- Suitable for printing presentation materials that need vibrant colors.
Web Pages
- Suitable for printing images displayed on your computer screen, such
as web pages.
Off
- Does not perform color correction.
Screen
- Adjusts the image quality of your document.
Auto
- Automatically adjusts the image quality based on the type of the document.
Fineness
- Optimizes the reproduction of texts and lines.
Standard
- Optimizes the reproduction of photographic images.
Gradation
- Optimizes the reproduction of charts and graphs.
